Long Run

I was going to do a long run yesterday afternoon, but I got so busy at work that I just couldn't get home in time to do it.  I still have so much to catch up on from taking the long weekend last weekend.

My team's morning practice got rained out today, so I did my long run this morning.  I did 7 miles in 1:10:00 on the treadmill.  Again, I broken it up in fifths by time, so I ran at 5.8, 5.9, 6.0, 6.1, and 6.2 mph.  This was feeling pretty good until at about 2 miles, when I accidentally dropped my water bottle.  In my attempt to catch it, I tripped and slid on the running treadmill. Ouch!  Fortunately, I did not receive any major injuries.  Mostly scrapes and burns from the moving belt.  I did take more breaks after this because I wasn't sure whether I was really uninjured or not.
